Borough Accepting bids For Demolition Project

Green Lane Borough will receive sealed bids online via PennBid for “Green Lane Borough Acquisition and Demolition Project”  until May 8, 2026, at 2 p.m., at which time they shall be opened online and posted publicly on PennBid’s website. All documents and solicitation details are available online for no cost at PennBid – https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026 in the Borough office at 214 Main Street, Green Lane, PA. A bid bond is required in the amount of 10% of the maximum amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit within the time limit specified in the contract documents the performance bond and payment bond, each in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended, the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, and to applicable provisions of Act 127 Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification as amended. Green Lane Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the Borough.

Mayor Declares Snow Emergency for Weekend

In accordance with Chapter 385, Article IV of the Green Lane Borough Code, Mayor Rick Stamper  has declared a Snow Emergency effective from 7 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, through 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
