Please take notice that the Borough Council of the Borough of Green Lane (“Council”) will discuss and possibly adopt a proposed ordinance, which is summarized below, at its regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Borough Hall at the Green Lane Firehouse, 214 Main Street, Green Lane, PA. All interested persons are invited to attend. Summary of Proposed Ordinance This proposed ordinance of the Borough is an ordinance to preserve and protect private and public property from the damaging effects of the spread of certain invasive, nonnative plantings, such as bamboo; to protect indigenous plant materials from the invasive spread of nonnative plantings, such as bamboo; and to maintain the general welfare of the residents of the Borough.
