GREEN LANE IDA TO MEET PRIOR TO COUNCIL MEETING
The Green Lane Industrial Development Authority will hold its annual business meeting on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 6:50 p.m.
COUNCIL SETS 2024 MEETING SCHEDULE
The Green Lane Borough Council passed the meeting schedule for 2024 at its regular meeting on December 14, 2023. All meetings will be held at Green Lane Borough Hall at the Green Lane Firehouse, 214 Main Street, Green Lane, PA 18054. All interested persons are invited to attend. If you are a person with a disability and wish to attend a scheduled meeting as stated below and require a service or other accommodation to participate in the proceedings, please contact the Borough of Green Lane at (215) 234-8633 at least two (2) days prior to the date of the scheduled meeting to discuss how the Borough of Green Lane may best accommodate your needs.
The 2024 schedule is follows:
2024 Borough Council reorganization meeting: Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.
January of 2024 Borough Council regular meeting: Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 7 p.m.
2024 Borough Council regular meetings: 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month, with the exception of January (February 8, March 14, April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, November 14, and December 12, 2023).
2024 Borough Council workshop meetings: 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month on an “AS-NEEDED BASIS” only, with the exception of January and July when there will not be scheduled workshop meetings (February 1, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5, 2023).
2024 Planning Commission meetings: 6:30 p.m. on the Monday BEFORE the regular monthly Borough Council meetings on an “AS-NEEDED BASIS” only, with the exception of January when there will not be a scheduled Planning Commission meeting (February 5, March 11, April 8, May 6, June 10, July 8, August 5, September 9, October 7, November 11, and December 9, 2023).
NOTICE – 2024 proposed budget
Take notice that the Borough of Green Lane (“Borough”) has prepared a proposed budget for the fiscal year 2024. The proposed budget is available for public inspection and review in the Borough Office located at 214 Main Street at the Green Lane Fire House, Green Lane, PA during regular Borough office hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The proposed budget is also posted on the windows leading into the Borough Office and at the Borough website at https://greenlaneborough.org/.

The Green Lane Borough Council will consider the items on the attached agenda at its regular monthly meeting Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 7 p.m. in the Borough office at 214 Main St., Green Lane.
PUBLIC NOTICES – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Green Lane Borough, Montgomery County will receive sealed bids online for the Borough-Wide Pavement Restoration Project.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, via video conference. Meeting details will be included in the bid set. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until 2 P.M., Wednesday, July 12, 2023. The bids shall be opened and made available for viewing on PennBid™ at 2 P.M. local time, Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% each of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Contractor’s Release of Liens.
The right is reserved to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. Quantities are not guaranteed and may vary (+/-).
The work in this contract shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442)
